How best to prepare
Year 10: Component 1
- Actively watch theatre with a critical eye, exploring the process the production would take to reach he end result
- Complete all work set in workbook.
Year 10: Component 2
- Complete all tasks in your workbooks on Teams.
- Follow the writing structure using the BTEC grading Criteria Writing Structure resource
- Watch performances to gain ideas
- Practice as much as possible
Year 11: Component 3
- Read newspaper articles, letters, flyers (like this one), textbooks, stories and poems. Read as much as you can. To give you a range of well supported ideas.
- Create notes after every class to document your input, skills gained and your personal input. This will help you as you come to write your notes for the three written log entries.
- Use the practice documents to ensure that you are familiar with the terminology and language. Looking particularly at what each criteria requires before writing the logs.
