Colne Primet Academy’s annual Mock Interview Day was a resounding success, thanks to the incredible support from a wide range of local businesses and community partners.
Year 11 students had the opportunity to experience real-life interviews with representatives from organisations including Young Enterprise, Barclays, Teaching Personnel, Burnley FC in the Community, the Police and Fire Service, Nelson and Colne College, Burnley College, Pendleside Hospice, Pendle Leisure Trust, Burnley Leisure and Culture, Inspira, EPBNW, and Tiaa.
Throughout the morning, students showcased their achievements and ambitions, impressing employers with their confidence and professionalism. The event was designed to help students prepare for upcoming interviews with colleges and training providers, giving them invaluable experience and feedback.
Head of Personal Development, Mrs Bielby, praised both the students and the employers: “We received amazing feedback from all of the employers about the quality of our students and how confident they were in their interviews. It was a fantastic experience for the students as they prepare for their upcoming interviews with colleges and training providers and we'd like to thank all of the employers for giving up their time to support this event, helping to inspire and prepare the next generation for their future careers."
