    GCSE Results 2025

The 2025 cohort results include 170 students who, together, achieved well across the ability range and demonstrated huge progress on the cohorts before them. This includes an increase of over 10% on average Attainment 8, a significant narrowing of the gap between those students who are eligible for pupil premium and their peers, and more than doubling the number of top grades with 130 Grades 7-9. Particular success was also in the number of students going on to access Level 3 courses, with 60% of the year group ready for this advanced stage in their future studies.

This was a diverse and inclusive year group, with 44% of students speaking English as an Additional Language, 20% of students with SEND needs, and 41% eligible for Pupil Premium funding. The year group also included 38 students who were new to the UK at secondary school age with 21% of the year group joining after the start of Year 9. All students were affected by the pandemic in their earlier studies, including not completing their Key Stage 2 SATs exams, meaning we are not able to calculate Progress 8 scores or show results broken down by prior attainment for this year group.

We wish all students from the Class of 2025 well in the future.
