Oracle - our School Library - is open to students each day at the following times:

Before school - 8.20am - 8.45am (no library card needed)

Morning break - 11.05am - 11.20am

Lunchtime - 12.20pm - 1.00pm

After school - 3.20pm - 4.15pm (no library card needed)

The Oracle has a wide variety of fiction and non-fiction titles available for students to borrow - covering many genres and suitable for all interests and abilities. Some of these include young adult titles which means they are written for teens in the 14-18 age range. This categorisation is not based on reading ability but on content such as language, themes and issues.

Whilst your child is in Years 7 and 8, there are no automatic restrictions on what they may borrow from the school library. However, if you would prefer that they are not permitted to borrow young adult titles during this time, please let me know by contacting school (by letter or email).
